Multi Room Audio / Visual

Audio distribution throughout the home from a central location - the home entertainment source, which can be located in the living room, or out of sight completely. Multi-room systems allow the user to receive different music streams at the same time played in different locations. For example, if a tuner and a CD player are connected to the multi-room system, music from the CD player could be hearding in the living room while music from the tuner can be heard in one of the bedrooms.

With Multi-room, you are able to enjoy all your entertainment sources everywhere. DVDs, CDs, Radio and DAB tuners, music servers, PC based music, I Pods, DVD (film) servers, Sky Satellite boxes, Freeview boxes and cable TV can be hidden away in one central location, and be enjoyed in every room, at the touch of a button on a keypad, remote control or Touch Screen. One press, no mess, instant entertainment with high quality audio and video, enjoyed everywhere.

Sound servers, also known as audio servers can typically store the audio from thousands of CDs which are then indexed in a library that can be searched and played immediately. Some of these products are capable of playing more than one selection at the same time, making them ideal for connection to a multi-room system. Music selections (or other audio) can then be made from the location in which the audio is to be heard by using a control panel or wireless remote located in the room.

Universal remotes give you the ability to control many pieces of equipment from one handset (and to remove the requirement for seven remote controls on the same coffee table!). With the addition of a programmable remote or a control system, we are able to add a level of integration that allows you to control all your audio-visual and home cinema equipment at the touch of a button, plus gives you the option to integrate to and control other systems like lighting, security, heating and others, at the touch of a button or touch screen. These remotes and control systems include Philips Pronto and Crestron or AMX touch screen systems for ultimate control and convenience.
